Use of English II is an intermediate course that advances students’ proficiency in English language and communication studies. Building on foundational skills, it delves into complex grammatical structures such as phrases, clauses, and sentence types, while introducing essay writing across narrative, descriptive, expository, and argumentative styles.

Students will explore denotation and connotation, as well as techniques for comprehension and summary writing, enhancing their ability to analyze and synthesize information.  The course also introduces drama as a literary genre.  Designed for tertiary students, GNS 201 aligns with languser.com’s goal of providing comprehensive Use of English course materials to support both classroom and remote learning experience.
